The Location

Panadería Matilija is located in picturesque Nevada City, California. Housed in the town’s oldest kitchen in a historic building dating back to the 1850s, the panadería serves up handmade Mexican pastries alongside pour over coffee (roasted by the owner’s father) and Mariage Frères tea. Tucked away past the pastry counter is a patio, open seasonally and pet-friendly to well-behaved companions (also available for parties and events).
